AI customer service agents that resolve tickets in your systems

Tickets resolved by taking action in your systems, with the hard ones handed to your team with context.

What is AI customer service?

AI customer service connects language models to your helpdesk, policies and business systems so customer requests by chat, email or phone are answered and resolved. A good setup goes further than pointing to help articles. It checks the order, changes the booking or issues a refund within your limits, and hands everything else to your team with a summary.

Customer · 08:12

Hi, my kettle arrived with the lid cracked. Can I get a refund? I'd rather not send it back.

Agent · 08:12 · 46 s later

Sorry about that, Maya. I've refunded $64.00 to your original card. It should appear in 3–5 business days, and there's no need to return the kettle.Returns policy §2.1 · damaged on arrival

The problem

Response times climb with volume, answers vary between agents, and simple requests wait behind complex ones. Chatbots that only point to help articles add frustration.

Our approach

We build support agents grounded in your policies and connected to your systems, so they can check an order, change a booking or issue a credit. Anything outside policy goes to your team with a summary attached.

  • First response in seconds, at any hour
  • Consistent answers across channels
  • Your team handles the cases that need judgment

How one run works

Each step is either fixed logic, a model doing the reading or drafting, or a person on your team. You decide which steps wait for approval.

  • Triage · triage agent

  • Look up · knowledge agent

    Retrieves policy and account data

  • Resolve · action agent

Takes the action in your systems

  • Hand off · your team

    Escalates with a clear summary

Questions about AI customer service

Part of these end-to-end blueprints

What does an AI customer support agent do, and who does it hand to?

An AI customer service agent reads the request, finds the policy and account data behind it and takes the action your rules allow, such as checking an order or moving a booking. Anything it can’t settle goes to a named queue: billing questions to finance, complaints to a senior agent, outages to the on-call lead. The person who picks it up gets the conversation, the lookups already done and a suggested next step.

Is this a chatbot?

It talks like one, but the work is different. A chatbot usually answers from a script or a help center and stops there. These agents also act in your helpdesk, order system and billing tool, within limits you set. If you only need help articles surfaced in a chat window, a simpler chatbot is cheaper, and our chatbot guide compares the options.

Can it handle complaints?

It can log them, classify them by type and urgency, collect the facts and route them with a summary. It should not decide the outcome or send the apology. Complaints involve judgment, goodwill and sometimes legal exposure, so a person owns the reply. Our complaint management guide covers the workflow.

Which requests should we automate first?

High-volume requests with a clear policy and a system action behind them: order status, address changes, booking changes, refunds under a limit, password help. Each one is tested on your past tickets before it goes live. Complaints, legal language and anything involving money above your limit stay with people.

Will AI customer service replace our support team?

It takes the repetitive tickets off the queue. Your team still handles complex cases, approves sensitive actions and decides policy, and they are the ones who notice when the AI gets something wrong. How you use the freed time is your call.

Does it work on chat, email and phone?

Yes. AI-powered customer support works the same way on each channel, because the same policies and actions sit behind them: a chat widget, email, WhatsApp or the helpdesk messenger. For phone, the support agent runs as a voice agent with the same rules.

Which helpdesks do you work with?

Our AI customer service solutions sit on top of the helpdesk you already have: Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Help Scout, Gorgias and custom systems through their APIs.

How do you prevent wrong answers?

Agents answer only from approved sources and cite them. A ticket goes to your team when no source supports the answer, a policy rule triggers, or the customer asks for a person. We sample and score conversations every week after launch.
